Cherry Ordoñez, PhD (they/them)
Prior to psychology I worked in finance, which means I am both empathetic and analytical. Eventually my therapeutic career started at a child abuse prevention hotline, where I supported people from potentially abusive situations. I then worked as a substance abuse counselor helping people through crisis. Along the way I gained experience in a tech-driven mental health company, hospitals, clinics, schools, conducted neuropsychological assessments, and published research. My current private practice focuses on telehealth services for adults and older adults. I also provide consulting for companies where I contribute to improving products, customer journeys, and employee workflows.
