Frequently Asked Questions

What is your fee?

15 minute initial phone consultation: no charge

Follow-up session: $195

Intake session: $225

Limited sliding scale with moderate fees available for those needing financial flexibility. Please inquire to discuss this option.

Do you take insurance?

I accept various types of Aetna and Carelon insurances. Click here to check insurance eligibility and estimate copay.

How much will insurance companies reimburse for out of network care?

I recommend contacting your insurance directly and asking for their reimbursement rates for out-of-network psychologists. Some individuals have reported success using third party systems like Thrizer, Mentaya, or Reimbursify to obtain the best possible reimbursement.

Can you provide superbills if I use my out of network insurance benefits?

Yes. If you have insurance that is different than the ones I accept, I am happy to see you as private pay/out-of-network client. That means that you pay for your sessions with me out of pocket at the time of service. Then I can provide you a superbill, a kind of detailed receipt, that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

I’m still unable to afford your fees. Do you provide financially accessible therapy through any organizations?

I partner with AMCH and Inclusive Therapists. Both are national networks of licensed professionals committed to providing consistent, high-quality therapy to those navigating complex systemic barriers.

I received a therapy fund from AMCH or Inclusive Therapist. What do I do next?

If you received a therapy fund from AMHC or Inclusive Therapists and are seeking a new therapist, please contact me to schedule a phone consultation. Please mention which fund you’ve been awarded.

Schedule a free 15 minute phone consultation to see if we are the right fit at this time. It’s an opportunity to tell me what you’re looking for, learn how I may help, and ask questions. At the end of our consultation, we can discuss next steps.
